I’ve heard a lot about the new Ballyness Resort up between Dungiven and Limavady, so I was thrilled to finally see it in person for Cliona and Callum’s big day. Nestled away with the spectacular backdrop of the Sperrins, the venue looked incredible for their outdoor wedding ceremony.
During the morning prep, Callum sneaked over to the adjacent farmhouse where the girls were getting ready to drop off a wee letter for his bride-to-be, setting the tone for just how genuine and sweet this pair are. Inside and out, there was so much energy put into every detail, right down to the rustic reception styling and even the evening dancing, with the couple practicing some epic footwork before hitting the dancefloor later that evening with The Real Shindig band.
After a beautiful open-air Christian ceremony officiated by Pastor Gareth Carrothers, the Northern Irish weather held brilliantly for photographs around the resort’s grounds. Working alongside Erica Irvine Photography and content creator Amy Henderson was a pleasure, and the rolling hillside opposite the property, along with the tree-lined avenue leading up to Ballyness, provided a stunning backdrop for the film.
