On day one of my April tour of the north-east, I had the honour of working with the lovely Hannah and Marc in Bangor. The morning was very relaxed, and the pleasant weather allowed for some great aerial shots of the coast. Myself and photographer Calvin Craig were spoiled with all the beautiful bridal details – notably the amazing pink and white floral wedding bouquets by Bluebells Broughshane, and a stunning dress from Pronuptia bridal.
The ceremony was held at Ballycrochan Baptist in Bangor, with pastors Neil Watson and Benji McKay officiating. After the service, the sun shining, we all filtered outside for a confetti walk and, following some light refreshments in the church hall, the couple drove off to Ballymena in a (very sentimental) MX-5 roadster convertible.
Now, upon arriving at the Tullyglass Hotel, the weather had turned a bit… inclement – but that definitely wasn’t going to spoil things. Umbrellas at the ready, and Calvin’s poor second shooter marked as designated umbrella-carrier, we set out into the garden to get some fun, and seasonal (lol), bridal party photos. Taking shelter from the downpour, the remainder were taken in the hotel’s airy conservatory. Speeches, dining and Ceilidh dances by Embrace Socials were all held in the hotel’s huge ballroom. It was a great day – a big congratulations to the happy couple!
