On day two of my north-east tour, I was in sunny Belfast to shoot Amy & Sam’s beautiful wedding at the historic 19th century Knock Methodist Church. Representing the Scottish contingent, the lads arrived in traditional Scottish tartan. Many guests also made the trip across the Irish Sea to celebrate – including the minister, Rev. Wayne Sutton, who travelled over to lead the service. Afterwards, we all headed up to the reception at Magheramorne on the Antrim coast.
Set within 42 acres of beautiful woodlands and gardens, the Magheramorne Estate is a really amazing venue, and the choice of stunning shooting locations on-site was wonderful. Photography was led by the talented Christine McIlroy, and after some lovely moments with the bridal party, strolling around the gravel paths and making use of the rustic tree swing, we concluded with an evening confetti walk in front of the restored country house. Things moved quickly and it was no time until the evening ceilidh dancing kicked off, led by Haste to the Wedding, who kept the dance floor packed into the evening. Congratulations to the new Mr and Mrs Smith!
